"I think it can be really amazing if you're incompetent at something..." - Graham Coxon

This site is intended for mature audiences (as mature as you can get while squealing at pop stars on the TV) and contains profanity, drug humour, slash humor, booze humor, British slang, British spelling, and way too much swooning. If you can't handle these things best find some other place to get your jollies.

This site is meant to serve as a text companion for better and deeper understanding of the documents contained on the Blur: Best of DVD, although the same information will apply to the Best of videocassette, or indeed, the videos in any place.

However, DVD technology is perfect for the consumption of music videos, enabling the Viewer to see one video at a time, or watch them out of order, at a moment's notice. Also handy is the ability to skip undesirable videos without having to waste all day rewinding. Far be it from your author to imply that some Blur videos are complete crap; the author merely wishes to inform the Viewer of potential pitfalls when moving into unknown territory. However, if the Viewer wishes to view, and even enjoy, those rough patches in Blur's video history, far be it from the author to piss in the Viewer's cheerios.

Also, still frame is essential when watching a pop music video. One needs a moment just to look.

Each video is analysed as much as it can handle, and some criteria have been established the judge each video's usefulness:

CUTE FACTOR - because, let's face it, Blur are extremely attractive. Sometimes.
VIDEO QUALITY - is it a good video? Is it entertaining and well made? Does it have rewatchability? Is it audacious or creative?
F*CKED UP FACTOR - does it seem like the members of Blur are having quite a chemically-assisted good time while making said video?
OVERALL GRADE - is it crap?

Also, for your pleasure, there is a drinking game, because the author really digs drinking games, and besides, it's Blur.

Your comments are welcome and appreciated.
