quick (and accurate) bio: born 13 June, 1972, denver, colorado. attended reed college (portland, oregon); graduated 1994, b.a. in english. a succession of crap jobs (intermittently a few good ones) followed. i am currently an editorial assistant for Dark Horse Comics and it's wonderful beyond my wildest dreams. my first book, st*rf*ck*ng, was published by Future Tense Press in the summer of 2000; my first novel, Voice of the Blood, followed in feburary 2001, Wounds in may 2002, and Fiend in april 2005. i've been writing stories since i was about nine, and novels since I was twelve. i was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1996, and as much as i'd like to think it doesn't affect my life, i now have to come to terms with the fact that it affects every aspect of it. i don't have a favourite food, band (despite what I say about Blur), book, website, movie, album, or any of that crap. i have an infinite number of favourites. my strongest interests at the moment are enjoying my job, reconnecting with my friends, and trying to improve my health.
